I am concerned with producing a good form, using an interesting process or material, my work is rarely conceptual. Building vintage racing cars for a Midhurst based company supports me financially. I am converting a 1970’s bus into my full time home, and soon to move my studio to the Brighton. I now work several months of the year for Oliver Way Design, a small company based in Lickfold in West Sussex, building parts for and fully restoring circa 1910 racing cars. I am also involved in the engineering/construction side of Arcadia Spectacular, a visual spectacle in the form of a huge steel spider that appears at several UK music festivals during the summer. I am in the process of looking for a suitable studio in or around Brighton, where I will produce my sculpture, whilst finishing the conversion of my bus for full time living.
